Mark T. Whitten has authored several books including a non-fiction, Ancient Faith Matters series, a Young Adult Novel, a children's book and three centering prayer books. Mark and his wife Julie currently live in Delray Beach, Florida. Adam, Brady, Seth, Seanna, Jed, and Silas (that's 6) call him Dad. He once traveled the world as a trans-local missionary, training and mobilizing indigenous leadership, collecting dirt from every continent (except Antarctica). Church of the Highlands in Birmingham, Alabama, Harbour Church in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and St. Anna's Orthodox Church in Columbia, Tennessee are among the churches he helped plant. He is a licensed minister, an ordained priest in the Anglican Tradition, and in previous lives was as an 8th-Grade American History "professor" and varsity coach; a project manager/construction superintendent; a business owner; and hillbilly.
He enjoys strong coffee, good books and light beer (with lime).
